Difficult to keep top looking clean and shining. Works great but I can see where someone could get burned by a hot eye because there isn't a light on warning on the top surface. There is a warning on the operating panel but most people won't look at the panel before putting their hand on the stove top or setting something on a hot eye which might melt possibly ruining the eye.

I have had a gas range for 40 years. I was always afraid to go to an electric range because I didn™€™t feel that they heat up as well as gas. This range is great! It heats up well, the oven heats up quickly, and it™€™s easy to clean.

I've found that the self-cleaning feature of this stove destroys the wiring and delicate parts inside the oven. A technician repairing the stove has warned me of this eventuality. He recommended I use Easy-Off oven cleaner and no longer use the self-clean feature.

This stove was purchased as a result of needing a new refrigerator and getting a matching set of kitchen appliances. I didn™€™t know I needed this until I used it. This outlooks, outworks and outclasses my previous appliance that won™€™t be named. Getting something to boil is crazy fast. The large and small optional burner is so convenient to have at the very front of the stove top. Honestly there is nothing I don™€™t love about this stove. It™€™s sleek, stylish and works great. I waited to review this until I used it for over month so that my review would be accurate.

I am disappointed that there is not a burner for a 3-quart saucepan, which is a popular size in cookware. The small burner is too small, and the large burner is way too big. I am also disappointed in the quality of the drawer, as it is very flimsy, and the indentation that serves as the drawer handle is not easy to access to slide the drawer open.

He comprado una casa nueva donde entran electrodomÃsticos GE. Supongo que han puesto lo mÃs económico de esta marca. El tema por el cual valoro con 1 estrella esta cocina elÃctrica es porque, los fuegos grandes estÃn delante y los pequeños detrÃs. Cuando he de cocinar dos o tres cosas a la vez, he de pasar mi brazo por encima del fuego grande, he de ir con mucho cuidado para no quemarme con el vaho. Para colmo, me pusieron el microondas/extractor, que no coge NADA de vapor, por lo que me causa una humareda dentro de casa tremenda, haciendo que me salte la alarma cada dos por tres. Ahora darà la reseña en el microondas, pero, no sirve para nada los dos aparatos juntos. Y, sí, ya me dijeron que el microondas era eso mismo, lo del extractor es un extra que NO hace su función, sobretodo si el fuego està mÃs adelantado que el microondas.

My new stove was delivered on a Sunday. I used it for the first time the next day after getting home from work. I noticed the far right control knob and the far left control knob turns hard. The other 3 control knobs turn really easy! When I called GE to ask about it. I was told to take a control knob off and put it back on and it made no difference. Then I was told a tech would have to come out and look at it with a time frame of (8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m) Not happy about taking off work all day for a stove that is (2) days old.

I used the self cleaning option for the first time which requires the latch to be closed. When I went to open it, it was jammed and would not open. Every effort was made, and when I finally pride it open, it scratched the top of the door and now the latch is just hanging there. What s joke!
