We purchased a full suite of GE cafe appliances 18 months ago.. All 3 (oven, range and fridge) have broken down multiple times. Lost use, ruined food, days lost waiting for repair people to show up. I will never buy a GE appliance again. No one has offered to replace this junk. These were supposed to be high end.

Have had this refrigerator for a few weeks now. There are many things I like and a few things that could be improved. Likes: a) the interior lighting is excellent, b) the Kitchen Assistant seemed gimmicky at first but has proved quite useful, c) same for the "door-in-door", seemed a bit unnecessary at first but now find it to be useful and convenient, d) the flexible use drawer with independent temp controls is a good feature. Quibbles: a) would prefer more prominent handles on inside drawers, not just notches at the bottom of the drawers, b) middle drawer comes with just one separate tray, needs two (I ordered a second tray - glad I did), c) freezer needs more shelves/organization features - it's just kind a two big open spaces. The bin at the top of the drawer isn't big enough to be truly useful. d) The ice dispenser in the door dispenses a bit slowly and is noisy. The refrigerator arrived with a quite noticeable dent in one of the doors but GE/Bodewell took care of it in an expeditious manner and Bodewell technician was thoroughly professional and competent.

This refrigerator is awesome. I love the middle drawer which is perfect for snacks and beverages. I also love the quick access outer door making it easy to retrieve juices, milk and creamer without opening the entire refrigerator. The freezer is large and I can easily see everything I have instead of having to move everything around to find what I need. The best feature is the scanning capabilities, allowing me to scan any product I need making my grocery list a breeze. The list transfers to my app on my phone. No more forgetting or buying double. I would have given it a 5 Star, but there are two things it is lacking. First is the ice maker. I use a lot of ice and this ice maker can keep up with everyday use, however, it is not enough for parties. Also the ice/water dispenser plate at the bottom of the refrigerator should have never passed quality control. The stamping were double stamped, leaving indentations which will eventually lead to possible rust and just looks terrible. I need to contact GE for a replacement part. Overall I do love it!

Nice product, only uses 184 watts™¦ as a result it takes 24 hrs to initially cool™¦ no ice for 20 hrs.. with an empty fridge and freezer. Instructions are very poor™¦. Wants to be linked to phone app.. too much AI™¦ I should have done my homework™¦.. probably would have bought another brand™¦™¦ paid top dollar. Lowe™™s installers were good.

THIS IS A REPLACEMENT FOR AN IDENTICAL REFRIGERATOR WHICH WAS INSTALLED ON JULY 03, 2026. IT'S ONLY BEEN A FEW HOURS BUT THE NEW ONE SEEMS TO BE WORKING. I MUST ADD THAT HOME DEPOT DID NOT HESITATE TO SEND A REPLACEMENT. GE WAS COMPLETELY CLOSED ON JULY 4TH SO I RELUCTANTLY CALLED HOME DEPOT RATHER THAN WAITING UNTIL MONDAY, JULY 6TH TO CALL GE. GLAD I DID, OTHERWISE I MIGHT HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH A FAULTY UNIT. YOU MUST CALL HOME DEPOT WITHIN 48 HOURS IF THERE IS AN ISSUE FOR A REPLACEMENT....

Loving this refrigerator so far. I do want to let people know that it won't produce ice until 24 hours is up. Don't panic like I did. Set up the refrigerator to be online and get everything like you want it BEFORE you install the app on your phone. I did the app first and added my fridge, and then the shopping list wasn't an option. I removed it after I set the fridge up, and reinstalled it and there it was. FYI-Camera inside isn't real-time. It snaps a picture each time you open the drawer.

This GE Profile French door refrigerator is a dream. The fridge section is large and spacious with several shelves and two drawer compartments. It had a middle drawer that is temperature adjustable and the freezer is spacious also. The ice machine and water dispenser are perfect. The kitchen assistant feature is an added bonus on top of a superb unit. I can see how much life is left in my water filter. You can hook it up to your WiFi and with the app you can scan foods you are out of for simple grocery shopping as well as add to the list. There are several recipes that show up weekly as well to try. It is an amazing refrigerator for my family of four.

I am beyond impressed with GE Profile Smart Refrigerator, in fact I love it! I enjoy smart electronics that work together and this refrigerator has so many wonderful and convenient features. Basics are all there when it comes to the freezer, fridge, filtered water, cubed and crushed ice dispenser. Some of my favorite things are the smart display screen where you can control every aspect of the appliance from lighting in and out, temperature control in each area, creating and storing your grocery list, even barcode scanning your items to automatically add to your list, looking up recipes with ingredients and instructions, checking the weather, time, and displaying ambient scenes on screen. It will also work with verbal commands to set and start timers, add to list, and even dispense water. The autofill feature is awesome and stops correctly every time regardless the size of cup being used. I am so impressed with the HQ app that connects my appliance to my phone. I can be at the grocery store and pull up my list and check it off, I can even see photo images of my crisper drawers to check and see if I still have a particular fruit, cheese, or whatever I'm checking for those drawers. The app also shows me how much water we have used, the percentage of water filter still available, and I can even order replacement filters right from the app to my home! The HQ app also allows full control of the appliance just as the smart screen does. My family loves the middle temp control drawer were we like to keep our beverages and make them extra cold. I love so many aspects of this appliance from the adjustable led light wall, to the sliding shelf, and the pocket door for easy access, even the little movable compartment in the freezer. I never knew how much a smart refrigerator would actually make difference. Lastly it looks amazing with the fingerprint resistant stainless steel (which my kiddos have put to the test) and of course the smart screen with the gorgeous images I get to choose. This is an appliance you have got to try for yourself!!

Great build quality on this GE Profile Refrigerator. I love how bright it is inside and how many features it has - the middle drawer temperature customization is very helpful. The smart home features work well and help to make my day to day tasks easier (the ability to measure the exact amount of water is such a game changer). Check my shopping list from the store via the SmartHQ app? Super easy. Plenty of shelf space and freezer room. Water filter keeps water and ice fresh. Fingerprint resistant outside keeps things looking clean and tidy.

I™™ve been feeling so blessed lately, seeing blessings everywhere. This particular blessing came in the form of a brand new refrigerator! And she™™s so fancy too. She inspires me to create! I can look up recipes and add all the ingredients to a list on my phone with just a touch. I also can see the weather, nutritional information or scan my empties to a specific list. Temperature control is easy, and the customizable shelves are perfect. We LOVE the special middle drawer with its own temp control. Hands down amazing. I didn™™t realize how poorly our last fridge was working until we got this upgrade. I love the wall light making it easy to see everything. The middle drawer can be changed from chill, meat, to drink setting. The fudge focus allows you to see what is in the veggie and fruit drawers the last time they were opened. Allowing you to check while at the store if you really do have those carrots. The in door only ice was a bit of a change but I do like that there isn™™t a massive loss in the freezer for use bins. The scanning tool is super handy and can help keep those busy families aware of what they are out of. I love the screen size. It is not overbearing and you do not get ads that cycle. Easy to search recipes. The autofill is very helpful although does not always fill to the top with some reusable cups, especially stainless steal with screw closures. Overall very impressed. It seems of high quality with easy to change water filter which is a huge plus. The app also lets you know when it is time to purchase a new filter and where you can buy. This fridge is the best. Let™™s start with the on door screen. It scans through recipes that you can save and add to your grocery list, shows the weather, has a barcode scanning tool that automatically adds food to your grocery list, timers, voice assistant, water usage and the list goes on. The water dispenser has a smart dispense that you can set your cup under it and someone knows exactly how much to fill. You can also set a certain amount that you need and it will do exactly that. The ice maker also works perfectly. Freezer has plenty of space with a top and bottom shelf. The middle drawer has different settings per what you decide to put in it. We have our drinks and it keeps the so perfectly cold. There is a door within a door that gives you quick access to your condiments and butter which is really nice. The inside of the fridge fits so much stuff! It also has a nice backlight. The fruit and veggie drawers are soft close and also have a camera that helps you not overbuy product at the store! Overall a 10/10 fridge that i highly recommend.

This fridge is absolutely amazing. It has so many neat features, like autofill for your water and a scanner you can use to create a grocery list by simply scanning the barcode on your items. It has so much room and I love all the storage features. It seems really sturdy and will last a long time. It also is really aesthetically pleasing and blends in nicely with the rest of my kitchen.

The bottom drawer design is very convenient and gives easy access to frequently used items, especially for storing larger or bulk items. spacious and smart fridge

First thing is this is probably the biggest fridge we could get to squeeze through our door, hallways and into its spot in the kitchen so make sure you've measured and made sure you got enough room. With it being a larger fridge this thing has plenty of space to store what we need. The separate cooler drawer which you can adjust the temp is nice since you can raise or lower it from the normal fridge temperature for certain items. The freezer has a drawer in it so you can store smaller items on top and larger on the bottom which can slide back to grab find and get things easily. With GE's SmartHQ app you can see and control temperatures, eater amd power consumption and can also see what is inside the fridge (although the fridge focus to see inside we're having a hard time getting to work). Best feature which I thought was whatever but use basically every time is the auto fill water feature. Just put your cup or whatever fits under it and hit the auto fill, it will fill it up automatically. There's also a scanner feature and several other things which we haven't used yet but it definitely has a lot extra compared to a normal fridge if that's what you're looking for. The thing I hate the most is the plastic protective film on it... It's great to help protect it while being transported but omg its almost impossible to get it completely removed since its goes all the way under the plastic parts that connect onto the stainless steel. I still have a few areas I need to try and remove completely, wish it was precut for just the stainless and not go under any other part so it can be completely removed easily.

As a fridge, this is excellent. It's huge - dominates my entire kitchen. It would be great for hosting, households with hungry teens, or multi generational households. There's plenty of room for everyone's specialty milk, snacks, fruit, leftovers, etc. I especially liked that I can adjust the temperature of the pull out drawer. I have it on the colder setting for lunch meat and cheese right now. The freezer drawer is nice and deep, which makes it easier to organize and easily find all those nuggets, fries, and frozen foods bags. As an AI assistant, I think it has a way to go. I like that I can voice activate it and add an item to my list, but you still have to manually organize it. You can export it to instacart. Now, if you could I integrate it straight to the Walmart app or something similar we'd be cooking. The little bar code scanner is nifty. It's not really necessary, but it's fun in the same way that scanning all your books with a personal library app is. I linked it to Alexa, but that so far hasn't been incredibly useful. Overall, I love using this for food, though it probably won't change the way I shop terribly much.

I absolutely love this fridge. My kids can scan items onto a shopping list for me when they run out of snacks or little things they make themselves. The drawers are perfect size and I love the app. I can see how my water filter is and even order more. It™™s so quiet. I love the door where if you™™re going for milk or anything in that door you don™™t have to fully open the fridge. Seriously so in love with this fridge and so happy to have an ice maker again. The water also comes out cold where as my old fridge it was still always warm and the ice didn™™t work.

The GE Smart 4 Door French Door Refridgerator with Kitchen Assistant is a great fridge. The installation went smoothly. The Cooling Drawer for meat or beverages is such a great feature, especially since you can control that temperature separately. The swivel doors inside the door are a neat feature .
